Zerosum™, Inc. is a Pennsylvaina C corporation developing a global genetic media network to accelerate the benefits of genetic discoveries. Daily, around the globe, more genetic information is sequenced, mined, analyzed and stored. This growing body of raw data will continue to challenge existing computer resources and infrastructures. Equipment and architectures, developed for tasks such as eCommerce and business information systems not the colossal world of the new information-based life sciences, are not the technologies that will be used going forward. Also, it is very clear there is no single, specially designed, global infrastructure operations and distribution system for making efficient use of the discovery data - until now.
Instead of trying to patch together a network of legacy systems and obscure locations of endusers, our Genetic Media Network is being developed especially for the tasks of having databases, software applications and securely configured distribution points (secure clients) at the point-of-research & the point-of-care where it is needed most.

Our managed services, in our BioInfrastructure Operations (BIO Centers), enable several important strategic opportunities for our customers. They can access a central location for extremely large databases, storage, and software applications. And they have available the specialized infrastructure operations needed to access and deliver genomic data into real world solutions (distribution) without having the large costs associated with such capabilities. Using our managed services BIOCenters allows companies to securely and reliabily deliver their products and services while they concentrate on their core business. Our goal is to enable a single point of entry for bio-commerce and distribution of genomic, proteomic and bioinformatic data through our BIOCenters. Information can be accessed through our virtual private network (VPN). By providing our Genetic Media Network, we assist life science companies in their mission to expand knowledge and create exciting new products and services worldwide from their extensive discovery research by providing the operations & distribution network they need.
